Yeah, he's going to go work for dad again, probably at TXST

A couple of rumors are circling the bobcat boards.

I. Join Dad in San Marcos. (fans thought without base since Fran has not been publicly offered the job.)

Ii. Told to resign or he would be fired (rumor comes from someone who knows the beat writer for the BCS Eagle)

Good, he is giving the new coach at Blinn a chance to get settled and start recruiting.

What, Brad Franchione has stated several times that he'd like to be Defensive Coordinator on one of his father's staffs? What, Dennis Franchione has been the rumored front-runner for the Texas State head coaching job? What, Dennis Franchione was under contract from A&M through the end of the 2010 calendar year and would have to partially reimburse A&M if he accepted a coaching job before 2011? What, today is the first business day of 2011?

All these coincidences? I wonder what they could possibly mean?

The TSU board doesn't feel that Dennis is the frontrunner at this point thought there prediction poll based on records shows otherwise.
