I think it is possible. Especially the BcS AQ players. If they leave college, they lose their paychecks they get now. Most will probably see it as an opportunity to hone their skills and continue to draw their checks. Unless the NFL decides to use replacements or another league forms. I also think that it will be a GREAT opportunity for the NCAA to fill the void left on Sundays with college games.

I don't forsee it being out of the ordinary. I suspect that the level of play in the United Football League may increase because I think the lockout will be a long one and a lot of good quality players will probably go to the UFL for experience and keeping up with their skills.

Very interesting read. I've always thought that rookie pay was getting out of hand. It's gotten to the point where having the first pick is actually a handcuff. What if you already have a franchise QB and the best player on the board is a OL? Are you really going to pay him the money that a #1 pick gets? No way.

Another good point was the trickle down to agents and them getting involved in the college game.
