Perhaps so, and frankly none of us are paid to estimate crowds. I was just told by a couple of people that it was probably only about 1200 people there last night.

No way. I do think people really underestimate crowds. Just stand there, pick a section, and count to 100 people. You'd probably be surprised how little space 100 people will fill.

being there last night and being at pretty much every home game the last 10 years, i thought there was about 2500 there last night and was thinking that if the students were here it would have been a good crowd. I would be surprised that when schools starts back if we dont have 4,000 to 5,000 to finish the season. I was actually pleasantly surprised last night being that it was a rainy and horrible night against a d-2 right after X-Mas.

To constrast our attendance during last year's Christmas break:

A 1K increase compared to last year shows that interest in the program is increasing and more people are starting to come to see North Texas play and not who we're playing. I feel that 5K is possible. Anything above that and I'll be giddy.

Really looking forward to the students coming back so the crowd energy, atmosphere, etc picks up.

I love that we've not had a game under 2K this season.

Makes me think that if we're going to play any Southland teams, we should stick with UTA, SHSU, and SFA. Putting TSUSM on our schedule doesn't do anything for us in the rankings and obviously doesn't in attendance either.
