Erskin Cost UT the Win?

... for those who watched the game, did you see when Erskin missed the lay up that would have cut the lead to 4 with around a minute left? UT subsequently came down to shoot a three and cut the lead to 4 (which, if my math's right would have meant that at that point the game would have been within 2 points).

In fairness to Erskin, there was a guy who tried to block his shot, but when he got the rebound, he was all alone.

I was torn as to whether to cheer for him or not, but I was sad indeed when he blew such an easy basket... UT took him out of the game right after that and he looked heart broken.

Erskin didn't lose the game for UT at all, poor free throw shooting (especially from Thomas) did without a doubt.

Oh, that and some guy named Anthony had a decent game.

I really doubt Erskin's bucket woulda made that big of a difference. Syracuse just wanted it more down the stretch.

And yes, Carmello Anthony was terrific.

Yes, Erskin blew an easy layup, but he got to play in a final-four game so he will still have some good memories from his college days. From Trilli-ball to Final-four, not many see the lows to the highs like that in their career.
