Based on available info,how would you rate the new Mean Green coaching staff that Coach Mac has put together ?

Personally I am more excited than I have been in years about the future of our team. Looks like the purse strings have finally been loosened for assistants, because this is a quality group !

Have we ever had a staff with this level of experience? Not that I am aware of in terms of modern history. I also like that he infused young hungry guys like Frye, Gaines and Weaver into the mix. Nice blend of youth and experience!

Ehhhh...I miss Dickey...:notfair:

I feel like this group of coaches is BCS auto-bid caliber, this staff is a couple of levels jump ahead of most of the Sun Belt. I expect before long if we can keep this commitment to football as a school the Sunbelt will be a thing of the past.

I was fairly excited initially about the HC hiring but after listening to how motivational and inspiring he is on one of the interviews posted here, it really got my football woody dancing!onguard.gif

Best, on paper, I've ever seen in the Belt or at UNT. Period.

Every coach has BCS/AQ level experience. Amazing what a difference that'll make.

I guarantee you there's not a school on our schedule that scares this staff... Even with Alabama...
