Will there be chairbacks in the new stadium.

I don't doubt that chairbacks won't be offered. I hope they continue to let people bring their own though.

I have wondered and, because of the size of the order, the seating should be specified by now. If they go to the molded seating that SMUt has at Ford we will not need chairbacks. I guess that would be too simple and logical. Perhaps there is a cost differential and we decided not to Pony Up. :)

It is my understanding that they will only be on the Club level.

I think Eagle83's question is whether the permanent seats are chairbacks, and the answer to that is no, except for the club level. But I'm sure you're right, they will still offer the clamp-on chairbacks as an add-on to the season ticket price. Whether they raise the price for those, I don't know. I also hope they wouldn't try to prevent people from bringing their own, because I'm thinking of buying some myself.

maybe the clamp-on chairbacks can be the thing they offer the lower donation levels instead of having the option to go to the deck?

Personally I would like to see molded chairs for the entire Alumni side. Sure put bench seats on the student and visitor side, as well as the Wing but real seats on the Alumni side.
