Gaines Joins Mccarney's Staff

Well, you can put me down as officially excited now that Gaines has officially been named cornerback coach for North Texas, especially since he recruited Denarius McGhee out of Euless Trinity to become a standout FCS level quartback for MSU in his redshirt freshman year. Also, he recuited all american kicker Jason Cunningham out of Amarillo, so he isn't someone to just talk about recruiting Texas, he has done it. And, dare I dream it; he's recruited a good QB out of Euless Trinity who has turned into a good college quarterback (yes, FCS level), so is it too much to think he'll be able to get some players from the now perennial powerhouse Euless Trinity program who will be good players at North Texas?
