Recruiting has always been the name of the game. Great recruits have made average coaches become great coaches.

Speed is the the other major variable of recruiting. Speed with talent is better than slow with talent; but it's the former which has taken Boise's program to the next level. Of course, coaching has had much to do with the Bronco's successes, too, and most of us now believe UNT has taken care of that variable with our first hire of an experienced HFC with FBS experience since Hayden Fry.
