Given the budget that Mac has to work with, I'd say he hit about as many home runs as was possible. This staff is going to be a great one.

What is the budget and what will we be paying our assistant coaches ? Curious. A Cajun poster claims that they will have the highest paid assistant coaches in the Belt with the OC and DC each making $150,000.

I'd imagine Canales and Bowen will earn around $200,000 as coordinators; and Quartaro would earn $150,000ish. And I would venture to say that we will be paying assistants significantly more than the rest of the Sun Belt just like we are our head coach.

I hope so. If we're serious about moving up to CUSA or MW then we should start by paying a staff somewhere in the range of those leagues.

Then start we have.. looked at the salaries from last year and we lead the belt, are strong in CUSA and strong in the MWC.

Mark it down, our DC and OC will be the highest paid in the belt.

So again my question is this: With this increased emphasis on spending more and making a serious commitment to our Athletics Department, but football in general, how long before our expectations also rise and we demand conference championships and winning seasons. .
