NT is holding at number 10 in the mid major poll for Dec.13th...creeping up on Butler.

SHSU was getting votes before they beat us, then lost to Cleveland St (currently ranked #1 in the poll). I would be pissed too!

I don't think we should be dropped out because of one loss (otherwise Butler shouldn't be there after the loss to Evansville), but definitely thought we should have dropped 5 or so spots.

We will drop a spot next week. Oakland (#12) beat Tennessee tonight. Oakland almost beat Michigan St last week. They have a nice team. Drexel is ahead of Louisville right now so we may drop two spots.

Drexel won so we'll drop two spots since both teams were behind us in the rankings. At least I assume we'll drop two spots.

Even if we drop 2 spots this is great news. Our program is getting the respect it deserves. We have our weakness and may not be a "Kansas or Kansas St." but other coaches see us as quality team and are ranking us as such. Time will tell but this type of exposure and respect is what UNT BB's needs. Johnny's bringing it and hopefully if need the selection committee for March Madness will hopefully show us respect also.
