Western REALLY needs this. They've put themselves through the gauntlet in OOC this year...BG represents a bit of a reprieve after following up the PR tourney with games against South Carolina, @ Vandy and @ Memphis...then games against Southern Illinois, a rivalry game @ Murray State and a home game with Louisville before opening up conference play. Should they lose this game, they may well be on an 8 game slide going into conference.

You said a mouthfull there. BG's offense is BAD. The whole point of a tough schedule is to build a tournament resume and short of that at least sharpen your skills. If we don't get this one then we haven't done either.

I already posted elsewhere that WKU will be very tough in conference play because of their brutal OOC schedule. That is, unless they let the loses get inside their head, which I doubt is the case.
