Chip Brown has mentioned that there are a few candidates "set to interview" with TSSM, and the list includes Fran, and Tim Brewster to name a couple. Regarding Brewster--he is very good friends with recently unemployed Greg Davis.

Interesting to see what happens, or if the $ can be worked out.

Brewster would be interesting. He was horrible at Minn but a decent name and good recruiter. It'd be a big gamble for TxSt to go with him. I'm sure it'd take $300K to $500K to go there. Can't see them getting Davis and Brewster. That'd be a chunk of change.

If Fran gets the job, it will be interesting to see the inevitable Fran-McCarney comparisions/watches on this board. Yes, it will happen because both were finalist for the UNT job.

Recruiting battles will be interesting, also.
