24/25 MBB Attendance Tracker
You pretty much hit the issue on its head. The issue is not the type of students we have, but that students don't care about UNT, or at least not enough to go to games. They and the townspeople of Denton didn't grow up loving and wishing they could go to UNT one day, like they do for UT or A&M. The AD needs to heavily focus on making a connection to Denton county and the students to change that mentality.- 1
