It was one year ago today, that Officer Tina Griswold, Officer Ronald Owens, Officer Gregory Richards, and Sargeant Mark Renninger of the Lakewood, Washington Police Department were murdered as they sat in a coffee shop preparing for their shifts. The officers were all sitting at a table working on their mobile data terminals, when the suspect approached the counter, then turned and opened fire. In the ensuing seconds, he killed two officersbefore his 9mm jammed. He pulled a .38 and killed a third, before being wounded by the forth officer, whom he killed during the ensuing stuggle. The suspect told friends and family members that he specifically wanted to kill police officers. He was killed by a Seattle Police Officer 2 days later when he was observed in possession of a stolen vehicle. Rest In Peace my brothers and sister. We'll take it from here.
