We need to be more PROACTIVE in helping the coaches in recruiting. There needs to be DESIGNATED games where we know there needs to be HUGE fan turnouts and HUGE interaction with the recruits. NOTHING ILLEGAL just show the possible recruits how great it would be to play for North Texas. Any ideas??? If this is already happening I want to know how, when and where.

ANY interaction with recruits by alums is a very, very bad idea, if not a violation of NCAA rules.

The huge fan turnout is a good idea but fan interaction with recruits is a big no no and is quite illegal.

I would do NOTHING more than show up to their game wearing a North Texas T-shirt. Anything more is just asking...make that BEGGING for trouble.

I brought 180K to a AAU game last year , it worked out pretty good

Exactly. There are few things that would impress a recruit more than seeing a noisy, positive, rowdy fan base that he can picture himself playing in front of. Packed houses don't hurt either.
