OK...Elections are... *drum roll please* April 1st through the 3rd of this week. I heavily encourage all students to vote.

Some of the things present on the ballot including, but not limited to:

[*]The Albino Squirrel name and secondary mascot.

[*]Whether the Daily should feature a column with student organization meetings and should the Daily give reduced advertising rates to student orgs to advertise events (this is a poll ONLY).

[*]there are contested seats in the College of Arts and Sciences and College of Business (plus others who aren't contested).

[*]Do students support the reduction of health benefits for TAs and other part-time positions at UNT?

FYI on the Albino Squirrel issue...

The ASPS put out table tents to advertise their referenda. Now, I'm hoping this will have the same effect as last spring with the Athletics fee. At a SGA forum, there were some students that were questioning the "need" of the referenda, so at least students are thinking about the upcoming election.

Not to harp on it...

But as long as the albino squirrel is voted down all will be okay. If it passes, I will lose *alot* of faith in the student body.

That was one thing...I can see students not wanting to be charged more(even if I disagreed with it, I could still inderstand). This...this would be unforgiveable.
