is it possible? with the new stadium, better recruits, solid coach and due to its location within North Texas i say yeah its possible but going to be very difficult... What do you think?

Absolutely possible. Ball State did it year before last and they are terrible. You just have to have cupcakes OOC and win your conference games, the way the big boys do(only we have easier conference games).

It's certainly a possibility. Teams are turning around faster than ever, even in smaller conferences. Miami of Ohio was 1-10 last year and they went 8-4 this year.

A good coaching hire is the biggest step. The new stadium will help as well.

With the right hire, this could happen within the next 5 years. With the wrong hire............

A lot of Sunbelt teams have made it into the top 25...

Since 2001 thru 2010 those SBC football schools are? ? ? ? :rolleyes:

If the Mean Green are not in the Top 25 in the next 10 years then Dr. Rawlins would probably be the first to say "we made the wrong hire in 2010."

Looking at the apparent kind of coaches on the short list Neinas submitted to our powers, I think our chances will be dramatically more realistic to think we can.

I bet you are right, and if they are not they should be. Hell we almost took Troy this year with an interim coach and 15 starters out.

We will be in New Orleans next December!
