Am I disappointed? Absolutely. I did have a feeling that the hire would come out of left field and it sure did. His name wasn't on anybody's radar. But hey it can't be worse than what we have had the last 6 years so I guess that is the positive?

Repeating again: The top man of www.GoMeanGreen.com told me that Coach Mac has 25 of his linemen who were coached by him have been in the NFL or are still active.

That is one form of what you can call "skins on the wall." The thing about these kind of hires (like Fry) is how much quicker they can get a program from Point A to Point B. When you have project hires many times your program doesn't make it even half way to Point B least of all make it all the way to Point B and I know one school in Texas that has been there--done that for way too many years now.
