Alzee done for the year.

Damn. Where's that hidden gem out there who can join us at mid-semester and stroke the three? We really need some consistent production from the perimeter. Hopefully TT will keep it up and Josh/Dom can find their shot. It would be nice if we can get a blowout win ASAP so that we can see what our deep depth can do.

are you sure? i haven't seen anything?...not saying i dont believe you i just want to make sure because this would be a BIG blow...

Agreed!

UNT90 may we ask where your source is for this information. I looked on Vito's Blog and the DRC website and saw nothing yet saying he is done for the season.

Fellas.....I sit behind our team bench. Last night, UNT90 sat with me. Anyway, at one point I leaned over and asked Alzee how he was doing. He told me that he had just had surgery. He said something about "6 weeks"....and I said "So you'll be able to play some late in the season?" And he said, "The doctor says I'm out for the year."

Now the only way there's a misunderstanding....is if my 53 year old ears heard him wrong. But I believe that's what he said.

I'm sure he meant the year 2010.

I was not saying he was wrong or anything, I just wanted to see where he had heard it from....

This is a pretty big loss for us if he is infact out for the season....

Sorry to post that and bail, but I got busy at work.

It was SUMG who had the conversation with Alzee, and I probably should have let him post it if he wanted to , Sorry John.

I did notice that a loose ball came behind the bench to Alzee and he did not bend his right leg at all to move out of the way or when he bent over to pick up the ball. Not good body language. Lets hope he meant 2010, but usually when a ballplayer says the rest of the year, he means the rest of the season. Hope not.

I am pretty sure that when Alzee said he was out for the rest of the year... he was referring to a Mercury Year. It takes mercury 88 days to revolve around the sun. But, the "rest" of the year means that the equivalent ratio of what is left on this year in relation to a mercury year. There is only 1/12 a year remaining. 1/12 of 88 is 7.304. So basically we will see him back in just over a week.

It's science.

It's so easy when you break it down scientifically!
