God, I Hate Chris Collinsworth

He annoys the living hell out of me, he lectures, and his voice ticks me off. I don't like the guy. He's not the worst ever but I would think Sunday night could do much better. There were three or four NFL commentators I hated more but he is in my top five.

I he says the obvious and I can't stand his voice. Maybe it is me, man he grinds at me. Al Michaels is one of my all time favorites.

I totally agree. I will mute the volume and just watch rather than listen to him.

NFL commentators as a whole are pretty awful IMO. Its one of the reasons I generally stick to college football when it comes to casual viewing.

His inflections, his mister obvious commentary, his lack of personality, his girlie presentation. I am sure it is something like a personality conflict or maybe just the tone of his voice but he kills me.

I'll never forget Collinsworth predicting how bad the Cowboys were going to lose to the Bills in that first of the two Super Bowls with them.

NBC could certainly do better.

Add the fact that he states the utmost obvious during his commentary AND will say one thing and then a week later say something completely opposite on the same subject. He is wishy washy. I didn't realize anyone else liked him either. My husbands always laughs at me when he is the commentator or doing a show because I haven't liked him for YEARS. He just rubs me the wrong way.
