Sad that the bison could escape from the griz only to be shot by a ranger. Man is the biggest danger out there to all species.

You realize that animal was suffering and in those conditions was going to die. Shooting the animal was the humane thing to do. The wounds it suffered weren't cause by man (burns from the famous Yellowstone hot springs), but we can show some compassion and end it's suffering while making sure it doesn't cause any further danger to people at the same time.

Not to mention, the meat was already partially cooked!
