All of those who agree to be interviewed want to be here.

I disagree. Jim Harbaugh interviewed the last time and made no indication that he wanted anything more than to say he interviewed with us along with other schools to show how many programs were interested in him.

Jason Garrett's wife called. She wants to know where the Canaleses had the t-shirts printed up.

Jason Garrett would be better off trying to get the North Texas job. If he got the job he would at least be left alone by management to run things the way he saw fit.

After all, TD brought a full staff of high school assistants with him, and no one said anything to him?

It seems to my like folks think Canales has excitement for the job, is a nice guy, cares about the Mean Green, etc. Just like Dodge. He's a good guy. So far, he's won a game against WKU and lost a close one. Just like Dodge.

Let's give this a little more time and don't let a bit of swag and excitement get in the way of obtaining a long-term football coach.

Don't get me wrong, I like what I see so far. Let's give it a few weeks and then compare to other candidates.

I am very excited about the direction we are headed. Go Mean Green!

Not exactly just like Dodge. With Dodge, whenever we played good teams we got slaughtered. We never came close to hanging with Troy.

      Loved going to Hot Springs for the Sun Belt Tournaments and really loved it when we won the champtionship! GMG...let's own Ft. Worth this week.

      It's a real question to ponder, but what is it gonna take? I've been told that it would take us being a winner. Then, it was we need to make a postseason tournament. No, we need to have wins in the NCAA Tournament or NIT. We have done all of this. The only times I ever see anyone in Denton show up big time for a game in the Super Pit is for games against power teams from the region (Tech, SMU, OSU, etc...) Otherwise, nobody goes. So they basically go to watch the other team play, whether to see the other team win or get beat. Who is making it so cool for the students and the local citizenry to be apathetic or hate our sports teams STILL in 2025?? I mean, I get that when we were in the SLC, Big West, the SBC, or even CUSA 3.0, people could look down on the situation we were in. But the American is the BEST conference situation we have ever been in for the current NCAA Basketball environment--brand names that have made big runs in the tournament over the years like Memphis, Wichita State, Temple, Tulsa, Charlotte, UAB, and even, now, Florida Atlantic with their recent Final Four run. And we have in-state games still with Rice and UTSA. And all of that equals being THRILLED to have over 4000 in attendance... I'll never understand. And it will not make a lick of sense to me when we see about 500 people in FW for the AAC conference tournament, either. All it does is reinforce to the local media that we are some commuter school that even our alumni and students don't care about. And maybe, in the end, that's the reality that will never change, either.
