Once again, RD shows why he stinks as a QB...6 of 15 for 58 yds...they know Troy is going to blitz, yet they can plan for this and get rid of ball fast? This is painful as Troy makes every attempt to give us the game. Whoever coaches the def backs should also be fired tomorrow.

You have fun directing your hatred at a 20 year old playing with a broken wrist, led us to a win last week right after his Dad is fired. You can do better than that.

300 yards , 3 td's , no turnovers. Yup I'd throw that into the stink pile. It would have really helped if someone would have blocked #94 Jonathan Massaquoi

I feel sorry for Dodge. He was running for his life the majority of the game. Their DE tore our tackle up. it was frustrating because he did well while given just a little.

I felt our O-line was awful along with Mccord. He got beat bad(twice I think).

Riley is 22.

But otherwise, what you said x2.

Were you at the game tonight?

+1, and after his what, 2nd or 3rd sack, I was also wondering if we couldn't come up with some answer for #94. Oh yeah, and Riley did everything you could ask of him tonight.

I know this - Mike Canales has Riley playing like a college QB. No one can deny that. We went toe-to-toe with the reigning Sun Belt Goliath tonight, and much of it was due to correctly gameplanning with what you have available to you.

I don't know if Canales will get this job. But, he's got the team believing the can beat anyone. If he's not our coach, he'll shortly be picked up by someone else - and, they'll win a bunch of games.

Probably the only time I've agreed with TFLF.

And this was made even more difficult by losing Tomlinson and Drake tonight. I hate to keep bringing up injuries, but wow, this is bad. The fact that Riley had any time to throw at all is a miracle. Massaquoi was just having is way with our 2nd/3rd string line tonight.

I said on a previous post...he has great character, he plays hard and I like the kid....to his credit, he played better in the 2nd half...much better and he has not given up the interceptions or turnovers like last year....but he knows the blitz is comming on every play...they should plan for this...the quick pass, shuttle pass, the draw, etc.....in winable games like these, he doesn't seem to put it together at the right time...a huge problem he had last year.

The team played significantly better than in the last several years, under TD...Canales is good, no question about that, but this giving up a TD on first play is something else...and the pass coverage...unbelievable....but again, I have been following NT football for 35 years and for most of the 35 years we have sucked...really bad...no wonder we are usually battling to get up to the no 110 slot!

He truly looked like a man amongst boys.

defensive issues...deloach, not canales. canales has done a great job in three weeks! i would have no problem if her was named coach...it would certainly be an upgrade and a good thing.

We could hire Leavitt as defensive coordinator and keep Canales as head coach.

Is there something about coach Canales that we don't know? Or did you just really enjoy Mrs. Canales' free shirts?

I'll tell you what I know. I saw a North Texas team that kept getting up from the mat every time Troy delivered a knock down punch and delivering a knock down punch of thier own. This was a game that most North Texas teams (of the last three years) would have folded up by the middle of the third quarter and allowed themselves to be dog whipped.

We got beat because we got fooled on some plays (or our DB's got fooled) and they had a defensive line rush, and we pretty much didn't. They also had about three or four future pro players out there, including their WR/kick returner #3...who WILL BE returning kicks in the pros after he's finished at Troy.

The next three weeks will be very interesting.
