Sunbelt Stats

UNT #1 Scoring Defense

UNT #2 Total Defense

UNT #3 Rushing Defense

UNT #1 Rushing Offense

vs.

Troy #1 Scoring Offense

Troy #1 Total Offense

Troy #7 Total Defense

and....unfortunately

Troy #1 Rushing Defense (it's time to crack that stat)

Bottom Line....Riley will have to pass to keep us in this game but otherwise I expect big things from a very statistically improved D.

We will definitely need to throw the football successfully to win this game. I think Riley is closer to 100-percent now, and with Stradford and Jackson hitting their stride again we should find some success passing. Lance still needs 25 carries and 100+ to give UNT a chance, but Troy is not the juggernaut it has been in years past. If the defense plays the same way it did against Western, it will be a close, competitive game.
