Come on, now. Mack has a national title and consistent top 10 rankings. We all know what going on the cheap has gotten UNT.

I enjoy a UT loss as much as the next guy, but you can't close your eyes to the things they have accomplished.

Mack has a national title because he finally quit trying to coach Vince Young and let him do what came naturally. That decision almost came too late to save his coaching career. Vince Young got him that national title.....and just barely.

Mack Brown is probably a great recruiter, but he is way over paid as a head coach.....as are 99% of all BCS coaches.

As others have stated BU got a true beat down twice by the UT ref's. I've never seen a team that's had the ref's in it's pockets for so many years. BU won even though the "HOMER" ref's try to win the game for UT. I hope coach Mac Brown gets what he deserves simply because of the "HOMER" ref's he carries to each game. I'm sure the "HOMER" ref's have been in UT's pocket long before UNT/UT in 1988.

There are 56 BCS teams, so 99%, or 55.44 of them are over paid. Who is the slightly more than half a coach who's taking home an honest slightly more than half day's pay for an honest slightly more than half day's work?

No, the ONLY reason, and I mean the ONLY reason TU won the BcS title, was because that arrogant ass Pete Carroll went for it on 4th and 1 at midfield late in the 4th of the title game instead of punting and pinning TU deep. They barely had enough time to score the go ahead score with half the field. If they had to go 80+ yards, I don't think they do it.
