I guess it has something to do with my pet peeve of posers pretending to be something they're not in order to engage in puffery believing it lends their opinion credibility.

In 1978 I lived with three law students while they were attending St Mary's Law School in San Antonio. I played on their IM softball team and occasionally I would attend classes for them to take notes. It appears I know far and away more about the legal system, lawsuits, contracts and courts than a person that shall remain unnamed that claims to be an non-practicing attorney.

To the rest of the board, my apologies for having such a low tolerance of total BS.

It is kind of like AIDS.

Once you have it, you can't get rid of it.

It used to bother me that I am permananently set at 20% but you eventually carry it as a badge of honor.

On the other hand, apparently only you see your own warning status.

It doesn't show up to other users.

GMG

(and congrats on taking down OU last night....this, the weekend before Halloween weekend, has seen a lot of Devils go down)

Thanks!

I think I'll plead a mix of extreme duress, exhaustion and euphoria caused my manic state last night at 3:00 AM. I left Mid-Missouri yesterday at 9:00 AM for the St Louis airport to catch flight to Ft Lauderdale. I missed the 12:05 PM nonstop so I didn't get to FLL until almost midnight only to waste another hour and half with baggage problems. By the time I got a rental car and into my hotel room I was ecstatic over lowering the boom on the Sooners, but exhausted and highly irritable.

Thank you so much for winning the game. I cannot stress my thanks enough. Now stay sharp and start getting things sharpened up for the Big 12 South leading....Baylor Bears?

EDIT: Also, don't bitch about your warn status. It leads to bad things.

Make that the Big 12 South leading and #25 ranked Baylor Bears

Meh. I'm more disappointed I typed the word "sharp" twice in a sentence.

You are on warn status?.....at least you can be assured Leach or Leavitt aren't running this board....then anything goes!
