WKU got a 13 seed in the West bracket and will draw 4 seed Illinois in the first round. Tough matchup for the Toppers. If they win, they play the winner of Notre Dame and Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

They're in the toughest region, by far. I do think they have a decent shot at an upset first round though.

I like WKU in this one. How the hell did Bama get in????? Freaking BCS crap. Leave it to the NCAA to allow a school that has other teams on probation to stretch and let Bama in after they get beat by VANDY (of all teams) in their conf tourney.

Then again, how in the hell did Gonzaga get in? Oh well, I guess that balanced it out. I am just happy to see Tech not get invited.

I think Gonzaga won the West Coast Conference regular season and got upset in the final by San Diego. It's important that the comittee put them and Sothern Illinois in because it shows they respect regular season champions in tough mid-majors. This could be a big deal for the SBC in a few years if we get our RPI up and have a regular season champ fall in the tourney, it would be the only way to get two SBC teams in the big dance.
