the one thing I will miss about TD is his loyalty to the program and the school. He knows he is at the end of his rope but he has not said one negative word. If we get a new coach with the same attitude but can put more W's on the board, we should be absolutely fine.

What if Dodge pulls off a miracle and beats K-State? After all, many injured players could return by then. It would be analogous to "acing" a comprehensive final exam and making the argument to the prof that you eventually mastered the subject and should be given a higher grade than your average reflects. I think he should keep his job if he wins against K-State despite the seven game win ultimatum.

Just trying to find a way for this guy to stay. Of course, if we lose to WKU, all bets are off. Losing to WKU is simply inexcusable! :surrender:

LOL So, eight wins (I'm giving you WKU since you made the caveat on the condition by stating a loss to WKU would nullify the win against K-State) in four years is good enough for you? As great as a win against K-State might seem, it still only counts as one win.

The classy thing would be to let Dodge go now or reassign him so he can move on to the next chapter of his life, then let him drown in this hopeless struggle of his. If you think it is tough to watch, can you imagine the frustration of losing this team as head coach. Dodge officially lost the team last week, whether he likes to admit or not.

Yep. That's what they do in the College of Music: "Sorry (insert name here), but you're just not getting it".
