Firework Display

Does anyone know if the firework display at halftime was planned or sometime during the game they decide that there wouldn't be enough people at the end of the game for the fireworks.

I am guessing that the stockpile of fireworks is getting a little large these days

At least they are not shooting them off after a loss.

The fireworks were about the most half assed thing I've ever seen at a North Texas game(on field play excluded.) I didn't even notice they were crowning a Homecoming couple until the grand finale finally sputtered to an end.

Look pal, we had at least 8 Roman candles on the sideline with injuries. Several more bottle rockets and sparklers didn't even suit up. Give em a break.

It was planned, as the scoreboard big screen thanked the sponsor of "tonight's halftime fireworks."

I also am thrilled that we no longer celebrate losses.

Instead we celebrate a break.

The band, by the way, played well enough to deserve better than a few sparklers.

Please fully eliminate this "tradition."

Next fireworks display will probably be in RV's offfice !.....I hope!

I heard that the cannon is being held out for disciplinary reasons.

No, he's never muttered a single cuss word or anything, but, he has been playing injured. I had to do a patch job on him before the team walk over on homecoming. I expect he will suit up and start for the final two games just fine.
