1. I'd like to see Todd Dodge reassigned at the end of the season for the remainder of his contract. Some non-demeaning job where he could be a help. He has been a good ambassador for the university.

2. Assuming the job requires a 30-day notice, post the head coach position next week. That way the new coach could have his staff in place shortly after the end of the season.

3. Give playing time to all sophomores and juniors. Grade them under actual playing conditions. In some cases it might be only a series or two but where there are seniors at that position give them a lot if warranted. I would hope that would be especially true for offensive and defensive linemen.

4. Giveaway merchandise by drawing at the Fouts Field Finale. I'd like to see a full house (or as near as possible) to show the Denton-Dallas-Fort Worth area and other conferences that we can support our team.

Thank you! I don't know where that rumor came from, but let's please bury it once and for all.

...like the rumor that our battle flag was an illegal depiction of the real Texas flag. That dimwitted rumor lasted a looog time. Of course, it was kept alive by dimwitted bureaucrats at UNT.

My understanding was that all state jobs had to be posted for 30 days so that any applicants would have time to submit their letter. I know that it's been done in the past but I don't know if it is an official requirement.

True for some positions, but multiple sources have found out this is NOT true for the position of Head Football Coach.

i think this would be considered and "executive type" position, in which this rule does not apply.
