I guess the meltdown in the football took the startch out of yall Rangers fans, but that was a great win.

No. It didn't at all.

The fans are still here, they were just either at the UNT game or at the Ranger game. Nice win and great pitching by Lewis and the bullpen. I know you can't look back, but how sweet would it be going into NY up 2-0 and throwing Cliff Lee in game 3?

I did post that last night several hours after both had completed. ;)

How was it at the Ballpark?

How'd it work out with the girl in the uggs after you flexed at her?

She seemed really into it. I went out at halftime and put on my black man-spanx to really make a statement.

Saturday was a little reserved and had a little more the feel of a regular season game. I guess it was bound to happen. After all, Friday had the F16 flyover (which was very cool and VERY low), Nolan throwing out the first pitch, the first ALCS game ever played at The Ballpark, etc... It just seemed that the fans were very wary of a collapse like the night before. Some of the loudest crowd noise came as we were leaving the stadium after the game.

Friday was awesome. The place exploded after Hamilton's 1st inning home run and was buzzing all night long. Well, at least until the 8th inning.

The best thing about it was the crowd was 98 to 99 percent Ranger fans, unlike a regular season game against the Yanks.

Damn it!!! They went on sale today??

Yup. When you clicked the link to buy tickets you were put in a queue page that refreshed every 15 seconds. I logged in at 9:05 and waited in line for 15 minutes when it finally popped up and said the games were sold out.

Stub Hub already has them for sale and the cheapest seat is about $235.

They're like roaches. If there was ever a nuclear war, the only survivors will be rats, roaches, and obnoxious Yankees fans.
