I never understood why ANY MEDIA is allowed in the locker room.

People are showering and trying to get dressed, let them, talk to them afterwards.

Agree with you. Just let the media chat after they come out of the locker room. Seems too simple a solution. The idea still seems odd to me that women are allowed into a men's locker rooms where male reporters are not allowed into women's locker rooms immediately after games. Seems like a double standard to me.

I don't know how locker rooms are set up in all the major stadiums but maybe the media just fears that players will find a way to get away from them after a game and go through another door? I think all media should be in one room and wait til all the players are showered and dressed so they can come to the media room and answer any and all questions.
