I'm skeptical, but would be fascinated if he got something going. Interesting factoid: his first coaching gig (per Wiki) was in Baltimore, 1975, serving as an assistant to then-HC Ted Marchibroda for -not kidding- $25 per week. I literally just got back from the corner store, spending 30 bucks on a case of beer. -

Defensive assistants
I see it as a BIG positive that Cassity had a chance to cull the staff he brought with him from SHSU. It looks like he brought all the defensive side. If he didn't like a work-effort or personality of someone he could have not invited them. They know each other and will jell faster as a coaching unit than if all were new coaches to each other.- 1
