the color seems a little dark and they should have highlighted the new stadium construction under facilities but no photos.

North Texas Launches New Site

Release: 10/08/2010

DENTON, Texas (10/8/10) - The North Texas athletics department has launched a new "Mean Green Experience" website for the 2010-11 athletic season.

The website is another resource for fans, media and prospective student-athletes to learn about Mean Green athletics from the perspective of current student-athletes and coaches. This web site is intended to replace the recruiting element of printed media guides that have been widely abandoned by collegiate athletics departments throughout the nation.

In 2009-10, North Texas made the decision to go "green" and stay ahead of the advances in technology by transitioning much of the printed media guide content to online or "virtual" outlets. North Texas was one of a few select schools in the country to produce virtual guides in 2009-10. The virtual guide combined the factual information on the teams and players with multi-media features. Mean Green fans could go beyond just reading about their teams; they could now see the Mean Green teams up close and personal with interviews and behind the scenes videos.

For the 2010-11 season, North Texas decided to go a step further and create its own website, specifically aimed at promoting the athletic programs and the University of North Texas. In contrast to the static virtual guides, the Experience site is alive and breathing, constantly changing with new images, videos and information.

There is no basketball under the sports section, why is this?

I'd guess that basketball is a "winter" sport, and the ones currently listed are currently-active "fall" sports.

Because reading comprehension of the posted press release is hard?

Woohoo, finally something UNT athletics related that doesn't look like it's designed by a 16 year old with a pirated copy of Photoshop. Oh wait, they contracted out for it.

Nice. <_<

But they contracted out for the last one. Turns out beggars can be choosers.

Concerning the Facilities tab. It's too bad that they could not have fixed the light behind the "T" before they took the picture.
