Just watched the replay of Madden getting tossed. When he started to talk to the home plate umpire, the umpire appeared to reach behind his back and flip a switch attached to a electrical device attached to his belt. It look like the control box for a microphone. Was he turning it off? Was he turning it on? Why was he wearing a mic in the first place?

Anyone?

Oh, I love the CJ that showed up today. This team could go very far this year with that CJ pitching in the #2 spot.

Figures I have tickets to Sunday's game when they are set to sweep on Saturday.

Just a guess, but a lot of times for national games they'll mic up the umpires and/or certain players and show that if anything interesting is said or if the game is just god-awful boring.
