Notre Dame scheduled

Anyone notice that the UNT Soccer Chicks play Notre Dame? The 2003 Soccer schedule is out. Good competition for the ladies.

Way to go. If I remember right ND is kind of a force in soccer.

To put it into perspective:

Over the past 10 seasons the Fighting Irish have a record of 206-29-6.

They have done very well in the NCAA Tournament as well:

2nd in 1994, 1996, and 1999

3rd in 1997 and 2000

National Champs in 1995

They are VERY GOOD to say the least.

Yeah, I was thinking they were a powerhouse. I guess we'll find out how good we really are by playing them.

How 'bout a home and home or just a one time shot football game with them scheduled in the next few years. I remember when they played SMU in the Cotton Bowl stadium. Big crowd. All they can say is "no." Or maybe "okay at Texas Stadium." That would give us huge exposure in the nation's sports pages.

Like the sales game, you have to 'ask' for the order!
