While we're on the topic of QBs, is anyone watching Nebraska throttle Kansas State? The Huskers redshirt freshman QB just set a single game rushing record for QBs.

Amazing. Think of all the running QBs that have passed through Nebraska - Gill, Taylor, Frazier, Frost, Crouch...none of them had as many yards rushing in a game as this kid. Crazy.

Yeah, Dodge definitely should have known that we would have 3 QB's with season ending injuries. Vizza is a quitter, nothing he could have done about that. Vizza doesn't quit and Derek Thompson or Riley is our 4th string QB and we are fine - until our 4th string QB goes down for the season as well. In fact, Vizza doesn't quit and THompson doesn't lose his red shirt last season.

Any coach should know better to go into a season with only 2 scholarship QB's. Unbelievable run of injuries, however it is not unusual to have two quarterbacks out; look at last year.

Yes, Dodge could also play; but it is fairly obvious that it was a good idea to move him to wr. He will if at all possible; play a great deal Saturday. The kid has tremendous heart and as been put in a very bad situation.
