Good find--he looks more than legit. Any idea where we stand with him, other than giving him an offer?

Paperwork still to be done , UNT trying to get him down here for an official visit

I'd say our odds are slim , but you never know what is going to happen the closer we get to signing day.

Another prospect that I have NO idea if we offered or not , but fits the JJ profile is PF Erron Chesterfield from Baton Rouge. Johnny always recruits the area very well r and this guy is compared to LSU/ Chicago Bull , Tyrus Thomas ( whom we ALMOST got!!!) Again I have no knowledge of interest , but going on the past I'd say JJ is watching this kid

Chesterfield

What's going on with this guy? Is there some sort of academic issue or something?

When he first popped up, he was looking at BCS offers... Big East, Pac 10... And Memphis and WKU to boot.

Now, his top 5 offers are two OVC teams, one SoCon, a bottom feeder CUSA team, and a middling at best A-10 squad. Other than them, Charlotte and us are his only Rivals offers.

He's still a Rivals 3 star and ESPN still has him as a 4 star with a 93 overall grade. What happened to his options?

I don't know if he waited too long or he is being smart and going the mid major route to develop his game in hopes of a NBA dream.... I think Murray State is where he ends up. Which isn't a bad choice at all , 31- 5 last year and a 1st round win in the dance

I don't know if he knows anything or not, but Vito mentions in his blog that Johnson may now be a target with the Robinson signing. I hope he is right.

I would also like to see JJ go after a JUCO big, if there is one available, in the mold of Tramiel.
