OKAY!! Just heard that James Hamilton's foot injury is indeed a Lisfranc ligament tear - NOW - I think there can be no further delay in getting an expert to look at the shoes!!! Is there any reason not to? PLEASE!

Newfan, are you with Nike or Adidas or something? Because we're really tired of people hawking stuff on here...

If not, then hopefully this has at least been looked at.

Ah, come on! - I have no reason to hope that there's anything amiss with any equipment our guys use - and I don't have any info that there's anything wrong with the shoes or any other equipment - however, the fact that there are so many instances of such a rare injury begs examination - Dustin said they're trying to figure it out - think it's logical to investigate any common variables - do you disagree? is there any reason not to look at everything that could possibly contribute? Never thought the suggestion could be even a little controversial.

Oh yeah, we should trust the athletic department to have looked into this because they certainly have no reason to cover up a problem with Under Armour. However, our team has suffered what, 4/5 of this kind of injury to their feet, which almost never happens in football. No, you're right, let's decide that somebody must have looked into it and accuse a fan of bias and greed. Because lord knows it couldn't be the athletic department letting kids get hurt because of money. Do you work for the NT Athletic Dept or Under Armour?

I think he's making a joke about the windmill guys.

Correct.

I did a poor job by neglecting part of the audience. Not everyone was able to enjoy the windmill boys banter.

In seriousness, I do believe the shoes should be looked at. However, I don't believe it's the cause. Isn't this injury usually caused by a foot getting stepped on? I'm not sure how Hamilton's injury occurred, but I'm pretty sure that was how JJ Johnson's happened.

This is not a knock on Dustin or the team Doctors, but are these athletes getting second opinions? Or are they going to the same doctors who have diagnosed all of these? It may help to get a second opinion and go see a foot specialist somewhere. It's just odd that all of these injuries are being diagnosed and treated as the same rare injury.
