I want to express my apologies to those who sit in Section E who were affected by the seating disagreement between me and a guest. Some people may have missed Riley's touchdown run because at that point emotions were running high and several of us were standing and arguing.

And just a word of advice to everyone... be aware of your surroundings and the close proximity of the seats. Don't invade another person's space for your own comfort. Don't be a jerk if someone points out that you are invading the space of the people around you. And don't use loud and foul language just because you are embarrassed that someone firmly but politely called you out on your inconsiderate behavior. Be courteous and respectful. Be aware that the seatbacks are worse than sitting on an airplane and that leaning wayyy back in the chair probably means you are actually leaning up against somebody's legs.

Thanks!

Im surprised no1 has mentioned the fighting between the players during the 1st quarter. Did no1 else see this ? Players had to be seperated from each other

Was SilverEagle in the middle of this bru-ha-ha in any shape, form or fashion? You know, he's had training from Stephen Segall in the art of whooping UNT assistant football coaches when the moment demands it and this could be passed on to irate Mean Green fans at any time, too.

(Sorry, Bill, could not resist that one).

I got no problem with Ak-47 getting all up in Shavod's @ss for the stupid penalty

Dunbar calmed him down and that was that

Flyer does not owe anyone an apology, folks. We were all subjected to boorish behavior from some tanked-up Southlake "swells" with familial ties to players.

I learned long ago how to wedge my knee into the person's back bone ahead me if they are leaning back into my area to the point I am uncomfortable. It tends to work out from there.

To be honest, I did try this - but the gentleman (*cough*) in question was so tanked up he didn't even notice. I finally had to ask him to not lean back and the whole gang made a much bigger deal about it than necessary.

Is that gentleman on this board?

Deep, Row 17. There was some back-and-forth movement to Row 16, but the problem was on 17.

He may be, no reason to think he's not. Your avatar and he would probably get along. :)

Next time Flyer...login to the board and put the word out. Then we can show in force and get it handled. Or...we could all decide on an agreeable GMG gang symbol to throw up in times of needing assistance

Excellent plan.

A few years ago a fellow fan at Fouts alerted me that I was infringing on his personal space. I ripped off his ear and flung it on the track like a tortilla. True story.

Be careful out there.
