My Apologies To Those In Sec E

Recommended Posts

I want to express my apologies to those who sit in Section E who were affected by the seating disagreement between me and a guest. Some people may have missed Riley's touchdown run because at that point emotions were running high and several of us were standing and arguing.

And just a word of advice to everyone... be aware of your surroundings and the close proximity of the seats. Don't invade another person's space for your own comfort. Don't be a jerk if someone points out that you are invading the space of the people around you. And don't use loud and foul language just because you are embarrassed that someone firmly but politely called you out on your inconsiderate behavior. Be courteous and respectful. Be aware that the seatbacks are worse than sitting on an airplane and that leaning wayyy back in the chair probably means you are actually leaning up against somebody's legs.

Thanks!

Was SilverEagle in the middle of this bru-ha-ha in any shape, form or fashion? You know, he's had training from Stephen Segall in the art of whooping UNT assistant football coaches when the moment demands it and this could be passed on to irate Mean Green fans at any time, too.

(Sorry, Bill, could not resist that one).

GMG!

Flyer does not owe anyone an apology, folks. We were all subjected to boorish behavior from some tanked-up Southlake "swells" with familial ties to players.

I learned long ago how to wedge my knee into the person's back bone ahead me if they are leaning back into my area to the point I am uncomfortable. It tends to work out from there.

To be honest, I did try this - but the gentleman (*cough*) in question was so tanked up he didn't even notice. I finally had to ask him to not lean back and the whole gang made a much bigger deal about it than necessary.
