I was updating the bar tender (who was a florida fan) on the score of the UNT game, and he offered to broadcast it in the PA system. It was packed for the UFC fight and everyone cheered when he announced the final score. He also noted that they had a better record than the Dallas Cowboys (at the time).

I always thought the Denton BWW was kind of douchy based on their lack of support for UNT/ UT, OU, TT jerseys and posters covering the walls. This gives them a couple reputation points in my book though.

and their Hot BBQ flavor is just fantastic.

Much like NTerock I am glad to hear they announced this over the PA but just don't understand why their decor doesn't match the city that supports them. I have emailed them but never saw any action. NT and TWU get equal time in the place in a little corner that can't be seen from those eating in the regular dining area.

Glad for the victory and glad that they announced it.

The BWW in Dallas on Lemmon has always been very accomidating to NT. If we have a team on TV, they will get it on for me. Last year in the Men's SBC BB Title game, they had it all over the TV's, with several NT alums watching and cheering.

Just a reminder...the Pourhouse supports UNT in a big way and is locally owned...just saying......

I like the pourhouse, but for UFC fights they charge $5 a head, while BWW is free.

FYI, Hooters also shows the UFC fights for free. Also, a big promoter of UNT. This year we are catering the Letterman's Tailgate Tent, as well as having girls out in the parking lot for pictures and goodies. No dislike for BWW, but I agree, they have very little UNT gear up on the wall for being in Denton Texas. In my opinion i would lend my support to Hooters or Pourhouse.
