Well like I said in another thread, You guys have been overdue for a victory against FAU and last night ya got it.

FAU just has NO answers for a running attack. We had a shot at the end and you guys kept trying to give it to us.

This was not the same defense I saw against UAB and MSU so I dont know what happened there.

When does Schnelly step down ? I can't imagine him getting fired , but I would also thinks he wants to coach in the new stadium

I couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking on not going for the 2 pt conversion to make it a 3 point game. Was there something he saw as important in not wanting to be down by 5?

Coach Schnellenberger will be welcome to stay as long as he wants I would imagine.

He IS the father of FAU football. We would have literally nothing without him.

FAU does not have the type of Boosters that could demand a change from the AD.

That being said, my personal opinion is that he will coach next year in the staidum that he pushed so hard for and then will move into the front office or retire. In all his years Howard has never coached in a stadium on campus that he fought for. Louisville built thiers after he left. FAU will give him that honor.

I do think that the game is starting to slip from him a bit, and while I'm not a huge believer in the star system that gets used nowadays, I think his recruiting has certainly not kept up with the time. Our Defense is starting 3 walk ons in the secondary. Thats an issue cause it means the people we recrutied werent good enough to win or keep thier jobs.

We havent had a good defense in close to 4 years now.
