OFFENSE fills seats. DEFFENSE wins CHAMPIONSHIPS. What do you want in a new coach.

Offense.

Leach was offensive minded (in more ways than one  ) and beat Texas.

Tuberville is defensive minded and you saw the result, only 14 points in the loss to Texas in Lubbock.

Comparing the Texas and Texas Teams of 2010 against the teams from 2008 is pointless. Totally different group of athletes, and in one case, a coaching staff 2 games in.

Texas Deffense is #2 Texas Offense is #72

Against the powerhouses Rice and Wyoming. Let me know when they are #2 and have played somebody. Same crap last year when their "#1 rush defense" got exposed by Alabama.

Bring on Joe Avezzano. Unfortunately, his D1 record was 6-47 which sounds kind of similar to you know who's.

In Avezanno's defense, he did have two ties (6-47-2) that could have gone either way and really turned things around. B)

if deloach is going to be the genius that he is with the defense, then i want an offensive minded coach and deloach will take care of the defense.

Uh... We have that now.

IMO: If we're talking about a new HC, then they would all need to go (unless a new HC were to interview and keep some). None of this piecemeal stuff. Wipe the slate clean.

If the new HC wants Deloach, then we keep him. If he doesn't, then we let the HC decide. We aren't going to Jerry Jones our new HC by telling him who his coordinators are going to be.

Yup. I love Deloach, but this is the way it has to be.
