I doubt it as well....and I have to admit that taking a thorough look at our trainers is in order. This is ridiculous and players should not be getting injured at this rate period....esp when no contact with opponents is made. I just turned the Army game off...I can't watch anymore.

meangreenman- i have noticed this happens literally every year. Then they get all pissy when they really should have seen this coming. They get all this hope only because Dodge says the exact same thing year in and year out with coach speak about "this team really wants it" "they really care more than in the past" "this is our year". It is old. If anyone actually believes it it is their own damn fault.

A sane and reasonable post from someone else, because it is not your specialty. Not many disagree with your thesis, but your delivery is like giving Corky from Life Goes On the Declaration of Independence and telling him to read it loudly to every British person he meets.

Not to be rude but you do know that to tear an ACL or even rupture a tendon, you dont actually need any contact to occur right? You just need to make a cut the wrong way that your body cant handle and then it just goes.

Its not the AT's fault that the team in suffering injuries like these. There is nothing you can do when a player makes a cut and the ACL goes, or if a player is tackled in an awkward position and suffers a broken bone or dislocation.

Now if they started pushing kids back onto the field before they are ready or if they pull a Tex Tech and start locking kids in the closet, then you can blame the ATs.

But this is just a terrible string of injuries that has fallen on our team. No one to blame except chance.

I don't care what you think about my delivery. I care about voicing my displeasure with this football program. Again, I don't care about what you think, I care about UNT football.

You should. Your might actually be effective getting your message across instead of getting eye rolls.

I can't imagine we go winless. We have the athletes to not go winless if nothing else.

The NCAA did a study of volleyball players in the mid 90's when about 1 player on every team would tear an ACL in a season, their conclusion, the weight training program was not designed to prepare their bodies for the physical stresses of the actual game, practice was not simulating game situations to the level that the players bodies would be experiencing in game situations. Maybe instead of accounting for a bunch of similar injuries to bad luck and freak accidents or even blaming the shoes and maybe question the strength and conditioning program and practice habits.

You don't have to care about what Q thinks. You need to care how receptive people are to your message.

Right now, it is not very much. Too bad, I think most people around here would applaud any effort to turn this around.

Nice to stand up for your roommate, but if you're not talking about demanding better from UNT football, I don't care what you think either.
