Our starter left the Hawaii game with a separated shoulder. No official word yet on his status.

It wasn't his throwing arm, but in our offense he needs that arm to pitch the ball correctly.

Your QBs take a lot of hits , I wouldn't think he would be able to play even if it wasn't his throwing shoulder

Sorry, dislocated, not separated.

Also, I should have said "he needs BOTH arms to pitch correctly" -- after all, it's not as if we always run the option to one side of the field.

In other words, shoulder injury on non-throwing side is more significant for a triple option QB than for QBs in some other offenses.
