Army only tried 6 passes yesterday against Hawaii, completed 4. They ran the ball 64 times.

Yep, it's called the triple option offense. Good run defenses often have just as much trouble against the TO as average or bad run defenses.

Trip...le op..tion? Your radical offense you felt the need to define sounds ground-breaking. How does it work against a 4-3 or 3-4 defense? What makes the QB decide to keep or pitch? Do other teams know about it?

Bubble screen: Yea or Nay? What about if you're up by 3 with less than 10 seconds left... Do you foul intentionally?

If two triple option teams play each other to a 3-2 final, is that like a 21-14 result in some other sport?

I heard that their first string QB was knocked out of the game in the first half yesterday with the backup in indefinitely.

That's 2/3 correct. He dislocated his shoulder and left the game, but it was not in the first half. No official word on his return.

Fans of other teams certainly seem to know about it. Many of them say that all that a defense has to do is hit the QB on every play.
