Too bad the 75-76 squad was independent with no real opportunity to advance to the tournament. They would have knocked off at least two higher seeds. The 88 team was just happy to be there. -

PAC is back
as Pac-12, Mountain West and American Athletic Conference plan their futures One thing I disagree with is if Memphis and Tulane go that the American would only add Air Force to replace them. I still would expect the American to add additional schools from the Midwest or east. I just do not see how they can sit back and not attempt to put together teams that can challenge the top teams from the new pac- 1

Did we dump the 3-3-5 for good?
Everybody is run heavy against a 3-3. Too many gaps, not enough dudes to fill. It's a math problem. 3-3-5 was designed to fit those specific 11 players. We've been trying to fit our 11 into that specific scheme. Good coaches do what is best for their kids at that moment. Poor coaches try to fit square pegs into round holes.- 5

Tulsa Spread
Edit: Tulsa looks worse than Wyoming on defense. Their offense may be more potent but I wouldn't say by a wide margin. If we stick with a 3-4 scheme, I think that might fix a lot of our defensive woes, mainly the run.
