I think we have to come out get the crowd boost and put them down early. If we let these guys hang around, if we blow scoring opportunities sans Ohio - we are going to be set up for heartbreak.

I can't remember a bigger game for the program. Ohio was big too but lets be honest, Rice is in Houston, they are part of CUSA and it could be make or break for the both of these coaches. We will get great publicity for winning this game amongst recruits in the State of Texas. I just hope and pray we come out for blood early and make it count! It's our home opener and will have an impact on our attendance for the entire season.

I said it before, I'll say it again:

NOTHING would surprise me tomorrow. Big win and a first step on the way to 7+ wins? 3+ TD blowout loss that tanks the whole season?

Nothing is out of the question.

Funny, a guy I work with was asking about the game as a betting situation. This is just about exactly what I told him. He is staying far, far away from this game.

Dang, you're topic title scared me, thinking maybe they'd brought that 30% chance of rain up to 100% (seeing that i's gone up to 40% isn't what I like to see). My wife has already advised me that there must be no monsoon for this tailgating today.
