"UNT with an impressive showing. The score doesn't show it, but they went into a hostile environment (75,000 attendance) and outgained Clemson. Had success in the air, with about 270 yards, but what impresses me looking at boxscore is that they ran for almost 200 yards too. That offensive performance, despite only 10 points, coupled with their defense showing improvement, has me concerned. Our offense will have to make major strides to be able to win. Don't know about Dodge, but this is a must-win game for Rice with the schedule we have."

It may very well be a must win for both schools/coaches. I am really confident about the Rice game though and I will give us the edge since we are playing at home.

I feel the line on this game will be anywhere from Nt by 1 1/2 to Rice by 3.

Anyone else feel the same. I know it won't be a large line for either team.

I feel as though we will win since I think we will have a large home crowd

for the first home game.

Agreed but as a fanbase...we are looking for just about any positives at this point. And after seeing their game against Clemson, I don't think you can dog that effort and performance because we know if they played like that the rest of the season...winning 6-7 will definitely be feasible.
