Defensive Statistics Worth Noting

Your top five tacklers last night were Craig Robertson with 8, AJ Penson with 7 and Brandon Akpunku, Jeremy Phillips and Kelvin Jackson all with 4. That is not a bad effort since you want to see your linebackers making most of the tackles. I am impressed with Jackson's numbers he looks like he came to play this year. It appears that we are not a physical secondary. In terms of big plays of course Robertson had the huge INT and AJ Penson was credited with a sack. The most surprising stat is defensive end KC Obi did not register a tackle and he was one of the team leaders on the d-line last year in that respect . KC really got covered up by the Tigers, hopefully he will bounce back against the Owls.
